A documentation of the life and history of Redondo Beach through the collection of oral histories.
“Speaking of Redondo” is a community project completed by the Leadership Redondo Class of 2004.
The project consists of video interviews with 22 Redondo Beach residents in 2005. Participants were encouraged to speak about how they live, work and play in Redondo Beach and provide insight on Redondo Beach’s rich history.
Their stories were originally published via a series of 43 DVDs. Copies of these DVDs can be found at the Redondo Beach Public Library.
This website was created to broaden access to these important histories by posting them on the Internet and leveraging its robust search capabilities.
We hope you enjoy “Speaking of Redondo”.
